Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Med-Surg RN) – Night Shift
- Schedule: Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 12H Nights | 48 Hours per Week
- Schedule Structure: 12-hour night shifts (4 days per week).
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (EOW) required.
- On-Call / Standby: Standard unit operational guidelines apply.
- Floating Protocol & Unit Details: Med Surg ST 4 Unit (Acute Care Medical-Surgical Department). Primary duties include patient assessment, plan of care development, pharmacology and safe medication administration, patient/family education, nursing delegation, continuous monitoring, and delivery of evidence-based nursing care within a Magnet-oriented nursing shared governance model. EMR: Epic EMR.

- Minimum 6 months to 2+ years of acute care clinical nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- EMR Proficiency: Direct hands-on Epic EMR charting experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Clinical Competency: Demonstrated proficiency in medical-surgical nursing interventions, pharmacology/medication administration, and acute care disease management strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
- Active specialty certifications (e.g., PALS, TNCC) or BSN preferred.

- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing minimum; BSN preferred) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
