Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Summary (List Format):
- Care for patients with tracheostomies, perform NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments, start IVs, and manage PICC lines
- Utilize advanced medical-surgical (MS) nursing skills in a complex environment
- Preferred experience with peritoneal dialysis (PD)
- Manage patients with complicated medical conditions including UTI, pneumonia (PNA), sepsis, tracheostomies, PEG tubes, peritoneal dialysis, altered mental status (AMS), and pancreatitis
- Work on a research unit for approximately 14 days per month, focusing on clinical research protocols
- Participate in “flu challenge” research studies (administering influenza to healthy volunteers and monitoring for symptoms)
- Provide care for complex medicine patients during non-research periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for both clinical care and research activities
Med Ninjas Job ID #15728. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
