Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN in en_US This position involves providing compassionate care to patients on a medical-surgical unit within a healthcare facility. The RN will rotate across various units such as Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders, primarily working on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit.
Job Details
- Position Description: The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care on a comprehensive medical unit, with occasional float to other Med-Surg units. The start date is November 16, 2026.
- Required Qualifications: Current hospital experience, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience, Epic Electronic Medical Record proficiency.
- Schedule: Days shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend.
- Additional Information: Only submissions with hospital experience will be considered. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in reading Telemetry and Epic EMR, with competency testing on day one. No call is required.
- Submission Requirements: Only one submission per traveler, per agency, per specialty; duplicate submissions will not be accepted. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission.
- Position Urgency: Normal.
