Stipend – Travel RN – Skilled Nursing Facility

Stipend

For this contract, you will receive a stipend to assist with expenses. A stipend is defined as a weekly, untaxed sum of money to pay for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidental expenses. This puts you in control of your own money!

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop personalized care plans for residents
  • Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Taking and monitoring vital signs
  • Administering medications
  • Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
  • Providing companionship and comfort to all residents

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • At least one year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting (skilled nursing facility, assisted living, etc.) as an RN
  • Active RN license in the state assigned, or in an eligible Nurse Compact State
  • Possess empathy and passion for serving others
  • Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members
  • Up-to-date certifications/compliance:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Two-step TB test
    • Physical exam within the last 12 months
