Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Facility: Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center SCA
Location: Thousand Oaks, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Projected Start Date: Flexible
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours/Week: 36 hours
EMR: CPN / Meditech
Pay Package
- Weekly Gross: $3,450
- Weekly Stipend: $1,995
- Weekly W2: $1455
Requirements
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
- Recent 1-year continuous RN L&D experience required.
- License: Active California RN License required
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP
Required Clinical Skills
- Labor and delivery management, including vaginal deliveries and recovery
- Vaginal examinations
- C-section circulating and post-C-section recovery
- Fetal monitoring
- High-risk antepartum care, including gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
- Obstetric emergencies, including obstetric hemorrhage
- Newborn care during the first hour of life, including breastfeeding and initial latch
- Strong critical-thinking and customer-service skills.
