Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Facility: Riverside Community Hospital SCA
Location: Riverside, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Projected Start Date: Flexible
Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekly Gross: $3,450
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Recent continuous 1 Year RN L&D experience required.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring required
- Must be willing to provide couplet care when floated to Postpartum
- Experience managing labor, titrating medications, performing cervical exams, and conducting NSTs
- Knowledge of obstetric emergency interventions, including McRoberts maneuver
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Transition Nurse / Baby Catcher
- Strong Labor & Delivery experience in a high-volume environment
Patient Ratios
- Typically 1 RN to 2 patients
- May require 1:1 patient care depending on acuity
Floating Requirements
- Must be willing to float to Postpartum for couplet care.
Weekends, Holidays & On-Call
- Weekend coverage may be required based on staffing needs.
- No regularly scheduled on-call is typically required.
