Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a facility setting. This role involves providing specialized care to antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients, including attending to newborn assessments and supporting deliveries. The position is scheduled for night shifts, starting October 12, 2026, with an anticipated end date of January 11, 2027.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BLS certification; RN license in the state of employment or a compact license; current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM); current NRP certification; current ACLS certification; 1 year of relevant experience required.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00PM to 7:00AM, totaling 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care to antepartum, labor and delivery, and immediate postpartum patients; monitoring fetal and maternal health; supporting delivery procedures and neonatal assessments; adhering to AWHONN standards for patient ratios.
- Additional Information: No floating required; no on-call duties; dress code includes navy blue or pink scrubs; assignment begins October 12, 2026, and runs through January 11, 2027.
