Position Overview
The Interventional Radiology RN supports patients undergoing image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, preparation, monitoring, medication administration as appropriate, and post-procedure care while collaborating with interventional radiologists and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications and provide nursing interventions within scope of practice.
- Maintain patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to support quality patient care.
- Participate in scheduled call rotation, including occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
Must-Have Credentials
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Interventional Radiology nursing experience is beneficial.
