Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse in the area. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a 64-bed unit with a focus on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory diagnoses. The role requires advanced skills in managing chronic vents, chest tubes, and other specialty equipment, with a particular focus on adult patients.

- Position Description:
Requiring up-to-date experience in IMCU/PCU with a minimum of two years documented travel experience. Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. EMR experience with EPIC is required. - Required Qualifications:
Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; active New York State license and all RN licenses; drivers licenses with address matching demographics; up-to-date resume with 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience; inclusive of RTO documentation and NURSYS report verification. - Schedule:
Day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week. - Additional Information:
Floating may be required to support staffing needs. Unit specific equipment includes temp pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo, and chronic vents. The demographic served primarily adults aged 18 years and older. - Submission Requirements:
Recent resume detailing experience, skills checklist matching the specialty, current licenses verification, RTO included at submission.
