The role involves providing specialized care to adult patients in a 9-bed ICU setting, with a focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and adherence to hospital protocols.
Job Details
- Location: New York (must have NY license in hand)
- Position Description: ICU RN responsibilities include managing arterial lines, blood products, central lines, IV sedation, and emergency medications. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, maintaining infection prevention standards, and charting using EPIC electronic health record system.
- Required Qualifications: NY state license in hand; minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS; skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias; proficiency with EPIC system; prior experience with adult ICU patient care.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates will float and are expected to cover every other weekend. Orientation includes 12 hours prior to shift start. Experience with trauma Level II patients and charting in EPIC preferred. Candidates must have previous charge experience, and travel experience is required.
- Submission Requirements: Must have NY license in hand at time of submittal. Candidates within 75 miles radius of the facility are not accepted.
