Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and support. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional critical care services.
Job Details
- Position Description: ICU nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a 42-bed unit, including medical, trauma, and cardiac patients. Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is required, with heart care experience highly preferred.
- Required Qualifications: Active New York State Registered Nurse license, current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), EPIC electronic medical record experience, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with at least 1 year in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Floating to all units except Behavioral and Emergency Room (unless holding) may be required; scrubs required to be navy. The unit handles diverse critical cases including strokes, sepsis, neuro interventions, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and post-operative care.
