ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an intensive care and step-down unit. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Position Details
- Role: RN
- Specialty: ICU/Step Down
- Shift: 12 hours (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: Varies based on unit needs
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU/Step Down settings
- Float Requirements: Yes, may be required to float to MSU or other areas as needed
Education & Certification Requirements
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred Certifications: PALS
- Education Modules: To be consistent with unit requirements
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 8
- Patient Ratios: 1 to 2-3
- EMR: EPIC
Candidate Profile
- Must Have Skills/Experience: ICU and Step Down experience
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Pediatric experience (not required)
- Type of Patients on Unit: ICU and Step Down patients
- Personality Fit: Team-oriented and compassionate
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Solid, any color
- Unacceptable Attire: No prints
