Job Summary
Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit. This position provides care for adult and geriatric patients in an intensive care setting. The role requires strong critical-care skills, travel experience, and the ability to manage complex patient needs in a structured block schedule.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; at least 2 years of experience; previous travel nursing experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend coverage.
- Additional Information: Provides care for adult and geriatric patients with an average 2:1 patient ratio. Relevant clinical responsibilities include ventilator management, arterial and central line care, blood product administration, stroke management, vasoactive medication titration, respiratory failure management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases and cardiac rhythms.
