Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU to join the critical care team .The ICU RN will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients while working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.

Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as ordered.

Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilators and other critical-care equipment.

Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies.

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.

Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a compact RN license.

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification required.

Previous ICU/Critical Care nursing 2 years experience
Med Ninjas Job ID #15603. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
