Assignment Overview
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of ICU experience, and will be flexible and adaptable to a high-acuity care setting.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: 337-bed hospital
- Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Local Candidate Policy: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care for critically ill patients
- Administer medication and ventilator management
- Interpret cardiac rhythms
- Perform wound care and handle invasive lines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
Qualifications
Required:
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Critical care gtts experience with medications such as insulin, vasopressors, sedation
- Proficiency in handling chest tubes, ventilator management, and blood products
