Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care by utilizing the nursing process. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare team members to maintain standards for professional nursing practice, while adhering to hospital policy and regulatory guidelines. The Nurse will direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to support patient and family-centered care.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
- Plan and implement nursing care based on the individual needs of patients and their families.
- Make appropriate interventions according to the assessed needs of patients.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions to ensure effectiveness.
- Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, and professional development.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
- Current TNCC or ENPC certification.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
- Active state nursing license in Michigan at the time of submission.
Work Schedule
- Possible shift schedules include 4/12-hour shifts with overtime after 48 hours or 3/12-hour shifts with overtime after 40 hours.
- Every other weekend commitment is required.

The facility is a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital located in Mount Clemens, Michigan, offering a comprehensive range of services including cardiovascular, cancer care, orthopedic services, and a state-of-the-art elective surgery center. It operates as a verified Level II Trauma Center and manages one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the region.

The dress code for this position is navy blue attire.
