Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position will involve working night shifts and requires a minimum commitment of two weekend shifts or four weekend days within a six-week period, along with holiday availability as needed. The role does not require on-call responsibilities.
Schedule
- Shift: 4x12 Hour Shifts (Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Weekend Requirements: 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for patients.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring patient conditions and documenting progress.
- Providing education and support to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
- CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
- Previous experience as a Charge Nurse and Level 2 Trauma experience is preferred.
