Emergency Department Nurse
Overview
We are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Emergency Department. Our highly skilled nursing team provides essential care to patients suffering from accidents or medical emergencies that require immediate attention.

Responsibilities
The Emergency Department Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing complete computerized charting for patient assessment and documentation. This includes:
- Assessing patients' health conditions and needs quickly and efficiently
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educating patients and their families regarding medical conditions and aftercare
- Participating in emergency response and trauma care as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or a related area
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required
- Valid nursing license in Massachusetts is mandatory
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is required
- Epic electronic health record experience is a must
Work Schedule
This position requires 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment to work every other weekend and two holiday shifts annually. Please note that excessive time off, especially around holidays, will not be considered.
