Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Room (ER) setting. This position is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients in various medical situations, including trauma and critical cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients in the emergency department.
- Perform IV starts, triage assessments, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation.
- Manage critical and non-critical patients according to established ratios.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems for documentation and medication management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15)
- Every other weekend required
- No call or float requirements
Patient Population
The role involves managing adult patients presenting a variety of conditions including STEMI, stroke, and LEVEL 2 trauma, with approximately 170 visits per day in a 53-room emergency department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ER setting.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Local candidates are also accepted.
- Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, BLS, and PALS.
- Preferred skills include ENPC and prior trauma experience.
Orientation & Training
Participants will undergo a comprehensive orientation, lasting 36 to 48 hours, to familiarize with unit protocols and expectations.

- Standard scrub color: Navy Blue.
- No block scheduling available.
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date.
