Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- 1st time travelers accepted
- IV Start, Triage, and Telemetry skills required
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB
Job Details
- Patient Ratios: 1:3-5
- Approximate Visits per Day: 250
- Bed Capacity: 101
- Minimum contract length: 13 weeks or more
- Weekly Hours: 36-48 hours can be offered
- Shift: 12 Hour MIDS (11:00 - 23:00)
- Floating required between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health based on patient needs.
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week timeframe, potential for every other weekend.

Patient Population
This role involves caring for a diverse patient population in a regional referral and tertiary care center.

- Unit Orientation: 24 hours

The selected candidate must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty.
