Travel RN – Emergency Department
Location: New York, NY 10029
Schedule: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 34.5 hrs/week
Requirements
- BSN required
- NY State RN License
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience — required
- Adult and/or pediatric ED experience
- 1 year travel experience preferred
- Epic experience highly preferred
- Trauma experience is a plus
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
- PALS – AHA
- NIHSS required
- TNCC, ENPC, CEN — preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, competent, evidence-based emergency nursing care.
- Assess and prioritize patients using critical-thinking skills.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, discharge, and follow-up care.
- Support patient throughput and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Perform charge nurse duties when assigned.
⭐ Must-Haves: 2+ years ED experience + BSN + NY RN License + BLS/ACLS/PALS + NIHSS.
