Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Job Summary (ER RN):
- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
- First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels
- Block Scheduling: Attempts will be made, but not guaranteed
- Local Candidates Accepted: No (must be at least 75 miles away)
- Pending License Accepted: No
- Requested Time Off: Minimal RTO preferred
- Mandatory Competency: Phlebotomy and IV placement
- Floating: Required when census warrants
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Required Skills:
- General Emergency Department care (Adult/Pediatric)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Phlebotomy and starting IVs
- Administration of continuous IV paralytics and sedation
- Emergency medication administration
- IV vasopressors
- Procedural sedation
- CVA management
- Isolation precautions
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Epic charting system
- Scrub Color: Any combination of navy and white
- Charting System: Epic
Med Ninjas Job ID #19192. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
