Job Summary (ER RN 7a - 7p):
- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN), 7am-7pm shift
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience
- First-timers Accepted: Yes
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5, mixed/shared acuity levels
- Block Scheduling: May try to accommodate, but not guaranteed
- Local Candidates: Not accepted if within 75 miles
- Pending License: Not accepted
- Time Off (RTO) Restrictions: Minimal RTO preferred
- Mandatory Skills:
- Phlebotomy
- IV placement
- General Emergency Department (Adult/Pediatric) care
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Administration of emergency medications, IV vasopressors, continuous IV paralytics/sedation, procedural sedation
- Stroke (CVA) care
- Isolation precautions
- Float Requirement: Yes, as needed based on census
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Charting System: Epic (Epic experience preferred)
- Scrub Colors: Any combination of navy and white
Med Ninjas Job ID #19188. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
