Our client, a leading healthcare institution, is looking for an RN - Emergency Department to start right away in New Haven, CT.
Location: New Haven, CT
Hours: 07:00 - 17:30
Pay: $62.07/hr
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to patient messages through the electronic in-basket.
- Provide patient education related to oncology diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Perform phone triage and determine appropriate follow-up or escalation in the outpatient oncology clinic setting.
- Coordinate care, including tests, referrals, and appointments, to support the patient's plan of care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team to address patient needs and maintain continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient oncology setting.
- Experience with phone triage and care coordination.
- Knowledge of chemotherapy and oncology patient care.
