Job description
ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.
Job Description & Requirements

Required qualifications – strict requirements
- Minimum 36 months of current Emergency Department/ER experience.
- Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Experience with sedation and vasoactive drips.
- Ability to read, measure, and interpret telemetry strips.
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license.
- Active TNCC certification.
- BLS – AHA or American Red Cross.
- ACLS – AHA or American Red Cross.
- PALS – AHA.
Schedule and holiday requirements
- Night shift, 3×12 hours.
- 36 hours per week.
- Every 4th weekend.
- No on-call requirement.
- Holiday rotation required.
- Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
- Orientation dates: December 7 or December 21, 2026.
- Earlier start dates will be prioritized.
