Shift and Hours
- Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Call: None
- Orientation: Every Monday
- Start Date: Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- Extended Hours: 48 hours per week may be available upon request
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS
- Preferred Certification: CEN
- Travelers must have their NIH certification, as specified in the posting.
- Basic nursing skills required
- Trauma and critical care experience preferred
- Must be a team player
- No floating required

- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Patient Population: All age groups, including adults and pediatrics
- Charting System: Epic
- Scrub Color: Any color
- Holiday RTO: Not permitted
Facility Overview
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is a tertiary care regional referral hospital and the flagship facility of Conemaugh Health System. It is recognized for clinical excellence and specialized services, including trauma care, critical care, stroke care, cardiac services, and emergency medicine.
Compliance Requirements
All screenings must be complete and clear before the start date. Pennsylvania-specific requirements include:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- Department of Human Services fingerprinting
- FBI/Department of Aging fingerprinting (fingerprints completed within the last two years may be accepted)
- Pennsylvania State Police criminal background clearance (PATCH)
Important: All required fingerprints must be submitted/uploaded before the candidate can be cleared. Volunteer clearances are not accepted for employment.
Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travelers.
