Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves coordinating and implementing individualized patient care plans utilizing the nursing process, practicing within scope, standards, policies, values, and the mission of the organization. The position requires critical thinking, prioritization, and effective collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within ninety days of hire); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within six months of hire); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (must be obtained within one year of hire); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (must be obtained within one year of hire); STABLE certification (must be obtained within one year of hire); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (must be obtained within one year of hire); 0-1 years of experience in emergency or critical care nursing; Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of emergency department or critical care nursing experience.
- Additional Information: This role involves patient assessment, care plan development, collaboration with the healthcare team, and patient education. Candidates should demonstrate competence in evidence-based practices, effective delegation, and adherence to safety and infection control procedures. The assignment duration is from 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
