Emergency Room (ER) Nurse
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to provide outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to adapt to the dynamic needs of the unit.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 1900-0730
- Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts
- FLOAT is required if needed
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on need
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, assessing and prioritizing patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for accurate patient record management.
- Administer medications using the Omnicell medication system.
- Participate in emergency response initiatives and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in an Emergency Room.
- Proficient in the EPIC documentation system, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Active certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, and TNCC.
- Willingness to consider first-time travelers based on relevant experience.
