Job Summary (CVOR Winter Holiday Needs):
- Assignment Duration Options: End dates of 1/16, 1/30, or 2/13; weekend-only shifts available (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday).
- Holiday Coverage:
- Holiday rate is contingent on willingness to work holidays.
- Minimal requested time off (RTO); all RTO must be finalized before assignment.
- One holiday off may be requested, but preference is for no holiday RTO.
- Expected to work most holidays during assignment per outlined holiday policy.
- Call Requirements: Variable; typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks.
- Floating: May float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience; unit accepts first-time travelers.
- Clinical Screening: All candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit; clinical screen required before manager review.
- Major Holidays Included: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day.
- Compliance: Full compliance with onboarding required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks.
- Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours varies by assignment length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks, 10 hours for 10 weeks).
- Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate as travelers.
