Travel RN – Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CTOR)
Location: New York, NY
Position Details
- Contract Duration: Approximately 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
- Hours: 34.5 hours per week
- Local Rate : $73/hr
traveler Rate: $80/hr
Requirements
- BSN required.
- Active New York State RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Cardiothoracic Operating Room experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience for travel positions.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- EPIC experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the cardiothoracic operating room.
- Assess patient needs and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain patient safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with hospital standards.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and effective resource utilization.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
