Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cath Lab diagnostic and intervention procedures, including structural heart programs. This position requires a commitment to patient care in a high-paced environment.
Schedule
- Shift: 4x10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- On-call: Required (2-3 weekday nights and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks)
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures.
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status during procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner charting system.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, demonstrating competence in all aspects of procedures.
- Active West Virginia nursing license required; pending licenses may be accepted with the condition of having the active license before starting.
- ARRT registration is mandatory.
Additional Information
- No floating; the clinician will primarily remain in the Cath Lab.
- Parking is provided at no cost for travelers.
- Scrub colors will be provided.
- This facility is a Level IV trauma center and a major teaching hospital.
