Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is located at a children's hospital in Colorado Springs. This 13-week assignment involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with scheduled weekends and a requirement to work two out of three holidays. The role supports a variety of neonatal patient care needs within a dynamic pediatric environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Colorado Springs
- Position Title: RN - NICU
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Nights; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/06/2026
- End Date: 01/09/2027
- Required Qualifications: BSN degree; RN licensure; minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience; BLS, NRP certifications; prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Comfort with patients from birth through 18 years of age; Pediatric/PICU experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required; personnel may be reassigned within their clinical competence and within thirty-five (35) miles of the original facility
- Additional Information: Must be available to work two out of three holidays; no request for RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment; medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted
