Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing specialized care to patients in the Neuro ICU.
These needs are specifically for winter coverage for one 10-week contract ONLY. Local radius restrictions are waived for this 10-week assignment. Must start by 12/18/2026. No holiday RTO is allowed, and no more than 5 days RTO will be accepted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU.
- Maintain an average patient ratio of 1:2 during day shifts and 1:2 during night shifts.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an RN in a Neuro ICU setting is required.
- First-timers are accepted.
- Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
- Certifications required: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS.
- No on-call requirement.
- Clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Open to accommodating block schedule: No.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
- Guaranteed hours are available.
- Special requirements: Neuro ICU experience is required.
