Tryfacta is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

- Provide nursing care to high-acuity PCU and medical oncology patients.
- Monitor patients with solid tumors, thoracic oncology, and orthopedic oncology diagnoses.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, ports, and blood product administration.
- Administer medications, manage PCA pumps, and follow heparin and cardiac drip protocols.
- Monitor respiratory status and provide care involving HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, tracheostomies, and chest tubes.
- Interpret ABGs and participate in rapid response interventions.
- Provide feeding tube care and manage continuous bladder irrigation.
- Follow strict infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.
- Float to units with equivalent or lower acuity as required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience. • At least 1 year of PCU experience. • Certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). • Strong high-acuity PCU patient care experience. • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, central line/PICC management, blood administration, and cardiac drip management. • Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and variable weekends. • Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but not mandatory. • Oncology experience preferred, but not required. • Pediatric experience not required.
