Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Ohio
Start Date: November 20, 2026
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts designed to meet operational needs with preferred shift consideration. Potential to float to similar Med/Surg Telemetry units and ED for the same patient population. Must work at least every other holiday.
Highlights:
- Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit providing acute care for a diverse patient population
- Rotating shift schedule with consideration for shift preferences when operationally feasible
- Float opportunities within similar Med/Surg Telemetry environments and Emergency Department
- Comprehensive orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
- Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months of continuous service
- Pre-start modules completed with billable orientation time provided
Requirements:
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license required at time of application
- Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from an assignment within the past 12 months
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Completion of BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of contract signing
