Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Float to Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Rehabilitation units as needed
• May provide care for COVID-positive patients
• Adhere to holiday work requirements — travelers working across three major holiday periods are expected to work two of the three; travelers whose contract spans two holiday periods are expected to work one
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date (modules are typically 5–6 hours)
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS certification required — AHA or ARC only
• EPIC experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility — candidates should be prepared to comply with this policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong EPIC proficiency is heavily preferred
• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Comfort working with a varied patient population including telemetry and rehabilitation patients
