Job Summary:
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) RN position in an Iowa healthcare facility. This role involves caring for diverse patient populations requiring med surg and telemetry care, with a focus on adaptability and team collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Iowa or compact/Multistate nursing license, BLS certification from AHA or ARC/Red Cross, 24 months of current Med Surg or Med Surg Telemetry experience required, with at least 1 previous travel contract within the past 18 months, and a minimum of 24 years of experience.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Float across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran, ensuring coverage for all patient types, including medical surgical and telemetry care, utilizing EPIC electronic health record system, with proficiency in caring for all patient types.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Heparin, recent charge or precept experience, proficiency in telemetry and cardiac care.
• Submission Requirements: Current professional references, drivers license, and appropriate certifications must be current and valid.
• Additional Information: This role requires a proactive team member capable of navigating a fast-paced environment, supporting unit growth and community service efforts, and working during winter holidays as needed.
