Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry traveler position supporting the interdisciplinary team in the provision and management of patient care. The role requires cardiac and electronic medical record experience, with opportunities available for new graduates who meet the required certification and licensing criteria. Assignments begin 11/30/2026 and may be available in several contract lengths.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Iowa state license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; cardiac experience; electronic medical record experience using Epic; and experience managing cardiac drips.
- Preferred Qualifications: At least one completed travel contract; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Additional Information:
- New graduates are accepted.
- Assignments may be available for 8-, 10-, or 13-week terms, with 36- or 48-hour contract options.
- Weekend coverage is scheduled every other weekend.
- Holiday coverage includes two of three designated holidays.
- No call is required.
- The role supports collaborative patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
