Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical With Telemetry. This position provides care primarily on a cardiac unit while floating to various medical-surgical areas as needed. The schedule consists of 36 hours per week on night shifts, with every other weekend required.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required and no call requirement.
- Required Qualifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; hospital experience; minimum of 3 years of current or recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience; demonstrated ability to read telemetry; current proficiency with the electronic medical record system used for the position.
- Additional Information: The Registered Nurse will work primarily on a cardiac unit and may float to medical-surgical areas, including wound care, stroke, oncology, respiratory, observation, and emergency department/medical-surgical boarding areas. Telemetry competency and electronic medical record proficiency will be evaluated during onboarding.
