Job Summary
Medical Surgical RN - Location varies. This position involves providing patient care on a comprehensive medical unit with occasional float to various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders. The role requires maintaining proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and delivering high-quality nursing care during night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) with hospital experience will work primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and may frequently float to other Medical Surgical units.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience (must demonstrate ability to read Telemetry, tested on day one), Electronic Medical Record proficiency (Epic preferred), and hospital experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with at least 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical records and diverse Med-Surg unit expertise.
- Additional Information: All submissions must include a start date of November 16, 2026, and complete the required on-time RTO disclosures. The contract may be canceled up to 36 hours per 13-week period, with hours not limited to 12-hour shifts. Only one submission per traveler, per agency, per specialty is permitted.
