Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing care to adult patients on the Medical Surgical floors, with responsibilities aligned to hospital standards and protocols. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with staffing needs starting from September 21, 2026, through December 21, 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of start date; 2+ years of relevant experience; current licensure; location-specific licensing; proficiency in Cerner electronic medical record system
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience on medical surgical floors; familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures
- Additional Information: The position covers a Medical Surgical floor with a patient ratio of 6:1 across 72 beds. No call responsibilities are required. Scrub color for staff is black. Scheduling is blocked, and no travel or housing allowances are included.
