Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse
• Location: Statesboro, GA 30458, in the welcoming community of Statesboro, Georgia
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays required; floating between Med/Surg and Tele only
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• EMR: Cerner
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6-7

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Recent experience caring for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• BLS certification required
• Recent Cerner charting experience required
• At least 2 completed travel nursing assignments required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver safe and effective care for Med/Surg and telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Administer medications accurately, including bedside scanning procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Coordinate and direct nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices
• Float between Med/Surg and Tele units as needed to support unit coverage
• Maintain clear documentation and communication in the Cerner EMR
