Contract | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotating 3x12-hour shifts (7:00a–7:30p and 7:15p–7:15a) based on department needs | Rotating weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg unit with telemetry monitoring
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, reporting changes in patient condition promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Rotate across day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled based on department needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior telemetry monitoring experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in an acute care environment
