MUST BE ABLE TO SERVE AS A CHARGE NURSE

Position / Specialty: Med Surg RN
Shift: 7p-7a,
Ratios: Days: 1:3, Nights: 1:5
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: Every other
Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS preferred.
Is on-call REQ? None
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.
Open to accommodating block schedule? No.
Locals accepted: No- must live >100 miles from the facility.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.

Special Requirements: Charge nurse experience. MS experience required. MS/Tele and Tele experience preferred. Use of Rapid Response Teams experience preferred. Colostomy care & Feeding tube care and management preferred. Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting IVs are required.
Heparin & Insulin experience required. Total Joint Replacements experience required. Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank experience required. Isolation Precautions experience required. Epic experience required. Child & adolescent competencies required.
