Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit serving patients of all ages across a 57-bed floor
- Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
- Utilize MediTech EHR for documentation and patient management
- Care for patients with common diagnoses including COPD, post-operative joint cases, and diabetic conditions
- Float to like units as needed
- Fulfill weekend and on-call requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure valid in the state of Kentucky
- ACLS certification required prior to start
- BLS certification required prior to start
- CPI / HWC / MAB certification required prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MediTech EHR platform
- Background working with geriatric, adult, and pediatric patient populations
- Experience managing post-operative joint and diabetic patient populations
