Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Deliver nursing care across Med Surg floors totaling over 70 beds
- Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
- Float between units as required to meet staffing needs
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including a maximum of 4 days/nights of requested time off per 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working in a high-census, fast-paced Medical Surgical environment
