Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med Surg unit! This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled RNs seeking a contract position in Durant, OK. As a Med Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- PALS certification required within 6 months of start date.
- Ability to float between units as needed.
Additional Information:
- Patient ratio of 6:1.
- Med Surg unit details: 2nd floor with 34 beds and 3rd floor with 38 beds.
- No call required.
- Blocked scheduling is NOT approved; maximum amount of RTO per 13-week contract is 4 days/nights.
- Scrub color: Black.
