Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Medical-Surgical unit. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and involves floating to various departments as needed.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of the start date.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Cerner, is preferred.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients in a Medical-Surgical unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and changing conditions.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

This position is located in Durant, OK.
