Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized patient care plans
- Implement and evaluate total nursing care for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Maintain and uphold standards for professional nursing practice within the clinical setting
- Provide leadership by collaborating cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members
- Develop and support systems to deliver consistent, high-quality care across a 13-bed adult Medical/Surgical unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
- Ability to work within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for a broad patient population across multiple age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
