Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing care across Med/Surg, Emergency Room, Labor/Delivery/Recovery, and Nursery settings, including observing and recording signs and symptoms, administering treatments, and assisting with patient rehabilitation
• Prepare, administer, and document oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications using barcode scanning within an electronic health system; monitor and manage IV sites and flow rates
• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room and obstetrical settings, including labor, delivery, post-partum, and newborn care, following demonstrated competence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans
• Observe, document, and report changes in patients' physical and mental conditions to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, in-service programs, staff orientation, and ongoing educational workshops

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, valid state Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current TNCC certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• Current STABLE certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Room setting
• Familiarity with obstetrical and newborn care in a clinical environment
• Experience with electronic health record systems, including barcode medication administration
